A visit to Lake Sonoma is always a good idea. The Cannonball Trail offers hiking at its best. There's so much to do here at Lake Sonoma that you need to camp here for a while, Black Bear Campground is a tremendous spot for that. Lake Sonoma gets a good deal of water; the month with most of the rain is July; February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. A journey to Gateway National Recreation Area is recommended. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lake Sonoma has to offer, you can camp at Motor Sports Marina and Campground. resist. Do explore Boy Scout Lake close to Lake Sonoma, it's a delightful lake, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Rockaway River. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the
80's to Lake Sonoma, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's; during the dark hours in the winter at Lake Sonoma temperatures fall to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. If you
come at the right time of year, Pequannock River offers some good whitewater, and if you need a spot to stay Regency House Hotel & Suites is a good choice.
