What a nice lake Lake Sonoma is. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a tremendous time here at Lake Sonoma. Whitewater paddling is perfect on Rockaway River, and why not head up to Sterling Forest and strap some skis to your feet. Wellesley Inn Wayne is a brilliant spot to get some rest, and Lake Sonoma is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Camp Ocawasin Lodge is a pleasant local campground. The Pine Meadow Trail offers hiking at its best; Harrison Mountain

| | Lake is a good lake nearby. A brilliant close by hotel is Regency House Hotel & Suites. There's so much to do here at Lake Sonoma that you need to camp here for a while, Motor Sports Marina and Campground is a tremendous place for that. Mt. Peter is a very popular ski area close by. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Cannonball Trail, and a visit to Gateway National Recreation Area is worthwhile. This lake is so wonderful. | |

If you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pequannock River. Lakes? Sure, Carpi Lake is close by. For the period of the summer months highs here at Lake Sonoma reach the 80's. Once the sun
is down it sinks down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while Lake Sonoma night low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Sonoma; Kakiat Trail is a great
local trail; Carpi Lake Dam is a site that is near Lake Sonoma. A great deal of rainfall falls at Lake Sonoma; July is the wettest month with most rain; February on the other hand is the driest.
