This lake is so wonderful. Visiting Delaware National Scenic River is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, and dry warm beds await you at RPAMI - Red Carpet Inn Milford. And that's not all you can do here at Lake Shawanni. Good hiking is available along the Bald Hill Trail; don't leave Lake Shawanni without       first going for a hike along the Flat Ridge Trail. Scottish Inns Milford is a perfect location to get some rest, and let's not forget Big Flat Brook which is a stream that you may come across while you're here. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun stuff the area close to Lake Shawanni has to offer. Paddling on Raymondskill Creek is so much fun, and not far from Lake Shawanni you acquire some great water scenery at Quick Pond Dam. This lake                  is so wonderful. Camping at Harmony Ridge Campgrounds is always a tremendous experience; you'll hit upon a stunning lake called Mecca Lake. Shawnee Mountain has magnificent slopes and a friendly staff; there's a good forest called Stokes State Forest. While you're here at Lake Shawanni, you could also explore pretty Quick Pond, and golf can be played at Hidden Acres Golf Course. Go for a hike on the Lost Cabin Trail, and Hornbeck's Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. High temperatures at Lake Shawanni during the summertime months are in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Lake Shawanni.
