The beauty of Lake Rickonda is reason enough to stop by. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Ramapo River; Mt. Peter is a very popular ski area close by. Lake Rickonda is a rather wet place regularly with lots of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is frequently May, that's the one that rains the most, and February is the month with the least moisture. do here at Lake Rickonda. Sterling Forest has delightful slopes and a friendly staff; if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Pine Meadow Trail. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Regency House Hotel
& Suites is a good spot to spend a night or two, and there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Pequannock River. Do pay a visit to Gateway National Recreation Area if you're here at Lake Rickonda. This lake is so wonderful.
If you came for an overnight stay Motor Sports Marina and Campground is a brilliant location to camp, and going for a hike along the Cannonball Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Dry warm beds await
you at Residence Inn by Marriott Wayne, and Beech Brook is in the vicinity of Lake Rickonda and is always a bliss to take a look at. While you're here at Lake Rickonda you can take a hike along the Kakiat Trail; Camp wabenaki is a brilliant campground here.
