Why not camp at Sun Air Lakeside Camp since you're here at Lake Parsippany, and soar down the rapids of Rockaway River in a kayak. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Lake Parsippany. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and overnight lows at Lake Parsippany during the winter usually sink into the       10's. Lake Parsippany Dyke Number One is a pretty spot next to Lake Parsippany; get yourself into a kayak and hit Pequannock River. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Wellesley Inn Whippany, and swamps don’t sound that glorious but Lee Meadows in close proximity to Lake Parsippany is reasonably glorious. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Lake Parsippany, you could also stop at wonderful Mountain Lake. After a long day outdoors                  Hyatt Summerfield Parsippany is a wonderful place to spend a night or two; everyone nearby loves skiing at Hidden Valley. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Camping is available at Brookwood Swim and Tennis Club; if you're a golfer then a tremendous nearby course is Mount Tabor Country Club. The slopes of Mountain Creek are so inviting nobody can resist, and do stop at Mirror Pond, it's a delightful lake.
