Lake Ocquittunk is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. During the summertime at Lake Ocquittunk highs are typically in the 80's, and the night is somewhat colder of course, regularly in the 50's. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Lake Ocquittunk. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Culvers Lake; if you need a site to stay Scottish Inns Milford is a pleasant choice. Dam is a wonderful spot, definitely worth a visit. Good hiking is available along the Lost Cabin Trail; if you haven’t been to Delaware National Scenic River, you ought to schedule some time for it since you're here. If you came to
camp Kymer Campground is a good place to do that, and a great close by hotel is Hotel Fauchere. This lake is so wonderful. There's great hiking along the Peenpack Trail, and why not pop by nearby Criss Brook if you're here at
Lake Ocquittunk. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Raymondskill Creek, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mountain Creek while you're here. Lakes are nice; Lake
Wapalanne is a lake that's near Lake Ocquittunk, and enjoy a round of golf at Hidden Acres Golf Course. Be careful coming to Lake Ocquittunk, you might not ever wanna go home again. Skiing at Hidden Valley is one of those things
you just must do. Lake Ocquittunk gets a common amount of annual rainfall; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is February.
