Raymondskill Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby; there are pleasant places to discover along the Bald Hill Trail. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the area near Lake Ocquittunk has to offer. Paddling on Clove Brook is so much fun; Scottish Inns Milford is a perfect site to get some rest. And that's not all you can do here at Lake Ocquittunk. The skiing at Hidden Valley       is good. Lake Ocquittunk gets a normal amount of annual precipitation; all through May this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. Criss Brook flows through this region, and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Hidden Acres Golf Course. After a long day outdoors Hotel Fauchere is a great location to spend a night or two, and going for a hike on the Peenpack Trail is always a brilliant                  adventure. Not far from Lake Ocquittunk, you'll stumble on Lake Wapalanne which is a wonderful lake. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lake Ocquittunk has to offer, you can camp at Harmony Ridge Campgrounds. Near Lake Ocquittunk you find the Lost Cabin Trail which is a delightful hiking trail. There's so much to do here at Lake Ocquittunk that you need to camp here for a while, Kymer Campground is a tremendous site for that. Lake Ocquittunk Dam is a site that is close to Lake Ocquittunk, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Mountain Creek is relatively near. This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than Lake Ocquittunk, for example Stony Lake, and the panoramas at Delaware National Scenic River will blow your mind. The warmest time of the year at Lake Ocquittunk comes with high temperatures in the 80's; the nighttime is quite cooler of course, ordinarily in the 50's.
