If you are traveling by, why not stop by Lake Iosco. This lake is so wonderful. Gateway National Recreation Area is a good local destination here at Lake Iosco; Sunset Valley Golf Course is a golf course nearby. Federal Hill is easy to spot from Lake Iosco; scenic scenery and pleasant skiing is what you acquire at Mt. Peter. This lake is so wonderful. Get your pulse rate up on the wonderful whitewater of Pequannock River, and the scenery at Post Brook Dam is stunning. Hiking along the Cannonball Trail is great fun, and swing by Beaver Brook it's a good place to go to. This place is excellent, just explore all the amusing stuff to do in the neighborhood of Lake Iosco. You can run the rapids of Rockaway River near Lake Iosco. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lake Iosco has to offer, you can camp at Motor Sports Marina and Campground. Lake Iosco
is a quite wet place regularly with much precipitation; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is February. So much enjoyable stuff to do at Lake Iosco, so little time. Stumble Inn is
a pleasant place to get some rest; hey, Gotta ski right? Sterling Forest is a great spot to do that.
After a long day outdoors Butler Guest House is a perfect location to spend a night or two, and while you're here you can take
a hike along the Pine Meadow Trail. Through the warm days of summer at Lake Iosco highs are typically in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Lake Iosco are in the 10's.
