| | Largest Lake in N.J, I believe 10 miles long and 64 miles of shoreline. Halsey Island & Racoon Island located on the main lake give the lake a more interesting day on the water. Many coves and canals also enhance this pleasure. The lake , coves and canals would would be difficult to navigate in 1 day, I spent many weekends there over my life, I miss very much. Lake Hopatcong is a stunning 4 square mile lake boasting a shoreline of 45 miles. In this lake you can find nice chain pickerel, channel catfish, crappie, eel, bass, bullhead, carp, catfish, hybrid striped bass, largemouth bass, muskellunge, muskellunge, perch, pickerel, rock bass, smallmouth bass, striped bass, sunfish, trout, walleye and white perch.
