Take a look at nearby Troy Meadows, and Boonton Reservoir is a great lake nearby. For the period of the warmest time of the year here at Lake Hiawatha, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are frequently in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake Hiawatha       temperatures plunge to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby Meadows Golf Club is a magnificent way to kill some time, and there are other spots here than Lake Hiawatha, for example Lake Montowac. Lots of precipitation falls at Lake Hiawatha; the month with most of the rain is August, and February is the month with the least moisture.
