Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Lake Montowac, and a glorious location to camp here at Lake Hiawatha is Brookwood Swim and Tennis Club. Not far from Lake Hiawatha, you'll discover Bee Meadow Pond which is a charming lake, and you can hit the slopes at Hidden Valley close by.

| | going for a hike on the Cannonball Trail is always a magnificent adventure. Lake Hiawatha sees pretty high levels of rainfall; most of the rain falls throughout August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Visit West Brook if you're here at Lake Hiawatha; Pequannock River is a magnificent whitewater spot nearby.

the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's; overnight lows in the 10's for Lake Hiawatha. Mountain Creek is a very popular ski area around here, and on a tremendous day you can take a look at Troy Meadows, a swamp near Lake
Hiawatha. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Howard Johnson Express Inn is a magnificent choice; a golf course nearby is Meadows Golf Club.

Lake Hiawatha. Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Parsippany,Nj is a great location to get some rest, and camping is available at Camp Horizons.
