If you are in this part of New Jersey make sure to pay a visit to Lake Hiawatha. If you're here at Lake Hiawatha, you could stop at West Brook, and Camp Horizons is a nice campground nearby. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Hidden Valley, and if you came for an overnight stay Brookwood Swim and Tennis Club is a splendid spot to camp. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lake Hiawatha a wet spot; August is when you get the most rain here, and February

| | is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Troy Meadows is an interesting swamp in close proximity to Lake Hiawatha, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Parsippany,Nj. This is no spot for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. An afternoon playing golf at Meadows Golf Club is always a diversion, and Lake Montowac is a tremendous lake nearby. Gotta ski! places, why not visit Boonton Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Howard Johnson Express Inn is a nice location to spend a night or two, and whitewater paddling is splendid on Rockaway River. For the
period of the warmest time of the year at Lake Hiawatha highs are commonly in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are commonly in the 30's, and nighttime lows throughout the wintertime
for Lake Hiawatha tend to be in the 10's. Paddling on Pequannock River is so much fun, and nearby you find the Cannonball Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail.
