This lake is so wonderful. There are swamps here too; Sea Girt Inlet is close at hand, and if you get bored of Lake Como you could also visit close by Silver Lake. A round of golf at nearby Spring Lake Golf Club is a magnificent way to kill some time, and Gateway National Recreation Area is a glorious national park. Lake Como frequently gets a lot of rain; most of the rain falls during August while February is commonly the       driest month. Lake Como is a fine site to visit for more than one day, Atlantic Club Camp is a fine site to camp nearby; a lake close by is Spring Lake. North Branch Wreck Pond Brook is a delightful place to pop by, and after a long day outdoors The Chateau Inn and Suites is a great location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. You don’t have to go far from Lake Como to see the water at Belmar Basin, and you can stay the night at Kum                  Sung Martial Arts. What a location this is for outdoors folks. South Arm is close by and always nice to stop at; dry warm beds await you at Neptune Motor Lodge. Through the summertime highs here at Lake Como reach the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's.
