If the weather is great here at Lake Anne, you can go for a hike along the Bald Barren Trail. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake Anne temperatures plunge to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Hit the slopes at Shawnee Mountain in the vicinity.
