Hiking is a popular thing to do around Kingsland Lake; Cannonball Trail is a good local trail, and if you're visiting from New York-Newark-Edison, you won't be the only one. There's so much to do here at Kingsland Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Rein Teen Tours is a brilliant spot for that, and hey, Third River is a brilliant local stream. A brilliant nearby hotel is Howard Johnson       Inn. Kingsland Lake gets much water; the wettest month of the year is generally May, that's the one that rains the most, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Kingsland Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Liberty Harbor RV Park is a perfect local campground; do take a hike on the Kakiat Trail. Hughes Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit, and get soaked paddling on Pequannock River. The warmest                  time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Kingsland Lake. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Kingsland Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Ramapo River; while you're here, you could also pop by lovely Yantacaw Pond.
