The beauty of Kingsland Lake attracts many people from all around. Gateway National Recreation Area is a fine national park, and float down the rapids of Pequannock River in a kayak. Going for a hike along the Kakiat Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity; camping at Kingsland Lake is nice fun, Kaufman Campgrounds is a nice local campground. Have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Conklins Crossing, and Korman Communities Clifton is a good place to get some rest. down to the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Kingsland Lake descend into the 10's. Kingsland Lake typically gets a lot of rainfall; most of the rain falls throughout May, and February is the month
with the least moisture. Any time is a brilliant time at Kingsland Lake if you have a thing about the outdoors. It's a great idea to visit Third River, it's close to Kingsland Lake, and if you're dropping by from New York-Newark-Edison,
you won't be the only one. The slopes of Sterling Forest are so inviting nobody can resist, and if you came for an overnight stay Liberty Harbor RV Park is a good location to camp.
