Kings Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. You don’t have to go far from Kings Pond to spot the water at Shadow Lake Dam, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Baker Pond. For the period of the summertime at Kings Pond highs are commonly in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pequannock River. This lake is so wonderful. Kings Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Motor Sports Marina and Campground is a good local campground,
and Preakness Mountain is a peak you can distinguish from Kings Pond.
Dry warm beds await you at Residence Inn by Marriott Wayne, and while you're here and you like golf, you can take a look at Packanack Golf Club. If you like
skiing, you're in luck; Mt. Peter is in the vicinity of Kings Pond. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious site for whitewater paddling close to Kings Pond is Ramapo River; don't leave Kings Pond without first going for a hike along
the Kakiat Trail.
Kings Pond is a pretty wet place ordinarily with a lot of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest month is February.
