There are nice places to discover along the Cannonball Trail, and Shadow Lake Dam is striking. Gotta ski! Mt. Peter is a brilliant spot to do that, and Homewood Suites by Hilton Mahwah is a fine place to get some rest. Summer at Kells Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. The       cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Kells Pond throughout the winter usually dip into the 10's. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Kells Pond. Good hiking is available along the Pine Meadow Trail, and camping is available at Rein Teen Tours. Everybody close by loves skiing at Sterling Forest, and for you golfers we recommend close by Apple Ridge Country Club. A lake close by is Cooks Pond, and you                  can run the rapids of Ramapo River. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Kells Pond without first going for a hike along the Kakiat Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western The Inn At Ramsey. Now, you may feel that's a lot but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Kells Pond. Don't forget to take a good little spree to Spring Lake Brook. This lake is so wonderful. Bunker Pond is a nearby lake that you could take a look at; a perfect place for whitewater paddling is Pequannock River.
