Kandle Lake, Gloucester County, New Jersey     User input for Kandle Lake, Gloucester County, New Jersey: Jerry: I went to Kandle Lake for the first time this past weekend with my daughters (3 and 5), as guests of another family. We all had a blast. The location was very clean, the lake was full of fun activities, had a sectioned off part for the little kids, two different height diving boards, rope swing, water slide, fountains, etc. We also went in the pool (including the separate kiddie pool). After one visit, I'm planning on buying a membership for next summer, and possibly considering buying a trailer. And this was my first time at a campground! Kandle Lake is a quite wet place regularly with much rain; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is February. Summertime highs at Kandle Lake mostly tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. For the period of the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Kandle Lake are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. After a long       day outdoors Blackwood Howard Johnson Express Inn is a glorious location to spend a night or two, and why not a little side spree to Duffield Run. While you're here at Kandle Lake, you could also take a look at pretty Alcyon Lake; if you came to camp Village Dock Camp Ground is a good place to do that. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Visiting New Jersey Coastal Heritage Trail Route is just something you need to do if you haven't                  yet, and for you golfers we recommend nearby Wedgwood Country Club. There's so much to do here at Kandle Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Kandle is a great spot for that, and you'll find a gorgeous lake called Bells Lake.
