Kimbles Beach is right next door to Johnson Pond if you're in a beach type of mood. There's so much to do here at Johnson Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Ponderosa Campgrounds is a wonderful site for that. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things at Johnson Pond. A lake close by is Clint Millpond, and golf can be played at Avalon Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. On a splendid       day it's a perfect idea to spend the day at Cooks Beach, and if you came to camp Green Holly Campground is a magnificent site to do that. Ludlams Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and this is a popular spot for people from Ocean City. Throughout the warm months here at Johnson Pond, high temperatures frequently get into the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and after                  the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Johnson Pond dip into the 20's. Dry warm beds await you at Blue Palms, and if you need a place to stay Sandy Shores Resort Motel is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. Johnson Pond generally gets a great deal of rain; the month with most of the rain is March while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
