Jaqui Pond is a nice lake to visit. Golf can be played at Morris County Golf Club, and everyone close by loves skiing at Hidden Valley. In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rockaway River; why not take a little tour to North Branch Whippany River while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Jaqui Dam is a beautiful site right next door to Jaqui Pond, and the panorama of Kemble Mountain is wonderful.

Highs all through the winter are regularly in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Jaqui Pond. Stay the night at Brookwood Swim and Tennis Club; the skiing at Mountain Creek is great. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Parsippany Inn is a great choice. Now, you may believe that's a heap but there's even more entertaining stuff to
do here at Jaqui Pond. Lake Pocahontas is a great lake next to Jaqui Pond, and whitewater paddling is brilliant on India Brook. A good deal of precipitation falls at Jaqui Pond; the wettest month of the year is typically August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is February.
