River Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. The Cannonball Trail is a pleasant hiking trail close to Lake Intervale; you can take a little tour to Wildwood Lake Dam if you're here at Lake Intervale.
Mountain Creek has glorious
slopes and a friendly staff, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Rockaway River. Man, is there a lot of exciting stuff to do near Lake Intervale. There are some good whitewater spots on Pequannock River; magnificent skiing awaits
you at Hidden Valley. Lake Intervale commonly gets a good deal of rainfall; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is February.
