Many people like to go to Indian Lake. Yep, outdoors cool stuff to do are in fact plentiful here at Indian Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Gateway National Recreation Area is a fine local destination here at Indian Lake; if you want to hit the beach, Hazard Beach is in the neighborhood. Indian Lake commonly gets a large amount of rain; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is February. Hiking along the Suffern-Bear

| | Mountain Trail is perfect fun, and Super 8 Motel South Hackensack is a wonderful site to get some rest. For the period of the months of summer highs here at Indian Lake get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Indian Lake temperatures fall to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. of Ramapo River, and do check out Zabriskies Pond, it's a gorgeous lake. So much cool stuff in the vicinity of Indian Lake, just remarkable. Indian Lake is right by the Conklins Crossing, and since you're here, you could also
have a look at striking Hackensack Reservoir Number One. A magnificent place to camp here at Indian Lake is Camp Experts & Teen Summrs; the skiing at Sterling Forest is brilliant. The Sherwood Path offers hiking at its best; some
close by water includes Losen Slofe. After a long day outdoors Ridgefield Nj Days Inn is a fine spot to spend a night or two, and while you're here you will meet lots of folks from nearby New York-Newark-Edison. Camping at Camp Wildwood is always a nice experience, and Overpeck Golf Course is a golf course nearby.

Torne Mount Ivy Trail
 | 18 miles away Locally, and on the NYNJTC maps, this is known as the Tuxedo-Mount Ivy Trail. There is a 'Hillburn-Torne-Sabago' trail that ends at the middle of the TMI. These are both in Harriman State Park. I'm not quite sure what the reference to 'Robert Moses' is all about, except perhaps the state park on Long Island, about equidistant, but in the opposite direction, from NYC-Newark-Edison. Gateway National Recreation Area, although very nice, is also nowhere near this trail.... |
