What a nice lake Hughes Lake is. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Ramapo River, and Dundee Dam is a place that is in close proximity to Hughes Lake. Really magnificent skiing awaits you at Sterling Forest, and hey, Third River is a good local stream. All the water falling down from the sky makes Hughes Lake a wet spot; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; February meanwhile is the driest month.

| | at Kaufman Campgrounds, and a golf course close by is Paramus Golf & Country Club. At Hughes Lake during the summertime highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. Cannonball Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.
That right there is a load already, but it carries on; Hughes Lake has it all. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Mt. Peter. Gateway
National Recreation Area is a perfect national park, and there are some great whitewater spots on Pequannock River. If you need a spot to stay Korman Communities Clifton is a tremendous choice; if the weather is good, you can go for
a hike along the Conklins Crossing.
This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Liberty Harbor RV Park is always a brilliant experience, and on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the Kakiat Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Wellesley Inn Clifton, and Dundee Lake is a great lake close by.
