If you are in this part of New Jersey make sure to pay a visit to Hughes Lake. If you need a place to stay Wellesley Inn Clifton is a splendid choice; camping is available at Liberty Harbor RV Park. Korman Communities Clifton is a great location to get some rest; nice skiing awaits you at Mt. Peter. This lake is so wonderful. The Conklins Crossing is a good hiking trail near Hughes Lake, and do pay a visit to Gateway National Recreation Area while you're here

| | at Hughes Lake. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Hughes Lake. Camping at Rein Teen Tours is always a perfect experience; why not a little side spree to Third River. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Pequannock River near Hughes Lake, and Paramus Golf & Country Club is a wonderful golf course nearby. Summertime highs at Hughes Lake frequently tend to be in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. | |

All through the winter highs are in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Hughes Lake temperatures fall to the 10's. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff at Hughes Lake. The cheerful
people of New York-Newark-Edison like to hang out nearby, also Dundee Dam is worth visiting while you're here. You can never get enough of the wonderful skiing at Sterling Forest; not far from Hughes Lake you'll stumble on Kingsland
Lake which is a gorgeous lake. All the water falling down from the sky makes Hughes Lake a wet place; most of the rain falls through May; February meanwhile is the driest month. Near Hughes Lake you find the Kakiat Trail which
is a good hiking trail, and there's whitewater on Ramapo River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. Lakes are tremendous; Yantacaw Pond is a lake that's in the vicinity of Hughes Lake, and if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the Cannonball Trail.
