All the water falling down from the sky makes Horseshoe Lake a wet site; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Succasunna Plains is a wonderful location here at Horseshoe Lake; you can stay the night at Fla Net Park Campgrounds. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Horseshoe       Lake, you'll stumble on Black River Pond which is a beautiful lake. Take a little journey to Succasunna Brook since you're here at Horseshoe Lake, and the skiing at Hidden Valley is great. India Brook is a glorious whitewater spot near Horseshoe Lake, and an afternoon playing golf at Flanders Valley Public Golf Course is always a delight. Just can't get enough of Horseshoe Lake. There are other spots here than Horseshoe Lake, for example Triple Lakes.                  You'll need more than a day to explore everything Horseshoe Lake has to offer, you can camp at Delaware River Family Campgrd. High temperatures at Horseshoe Lake through the warmest time of the year are in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Horseshoe Lake fall into the 10's. If you need a place to stay Quality Inn Ledgewood is a good choice, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Mountain Creek is quite near.
