Peter in close proximity, and from Hoppers Lake you get a brilliant panorama of Preakness Mountain. All through the summertime highs here at Hoppers Lake reach the 80's, and the night is a little chillier of course, generally in the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's; through the dark hours in the winter at Hoppers Lake temperatures plunge to the 10's. Dry warm beds await you at Residence Inn Wayne; you can       have a fine hiking adventure along the Kakiat Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A great place to camp here at Hoppers Lake is Baker Camp On Lake Sebago; there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Sterling Forest. If you need a place to stay La Quinta Inn and Suites Wayne is a nice choice, and get soaked paddling on Pequannock River. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Franklin Swamp is an exciting swamp close to Hoppers Lake, and                  Hoppers Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Rein Teen Tours is a glorious local campground. An exciting thing to take a look at close to Hoppers Lake is Crystal Lake Dam; enjoy a round of golf at Sunset Valley Golf Course. You completely have to love Hoppers Lake.
