You can never get enough of the good skiing at Sterling Forest, and you're possibly keen on lakes, Van Gelders Pond is one of those nearby. In case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ramapo River, and the nice people of New York-Newark-Edison like to hang out nearby. | | some rest. Near Hopkins Lake you locate a golf course called Apple Ridge Country Club, and a quick journey to Spring Lake Brook is positively a nice idea. The high level of precipitation makes Hopkins Lake a pretty wet spot; throughout the month of May you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is February. Sebago is a good location to camp. After a long day outdoors Howard Johnson Inn - Ramsey is a great location to spend a night or two, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Pine Meadow Trail. Rein Teen Tours is a good campground
nearby, and if you've had enough of Hopkins Lake, Cooks Pond is nearby. So many fun things near Hopkins Lake, definitely amazing. Darlington Lake Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out. This lake is so wonderful. Really splendid skiing awaits you at Mt. Peter; the Kakiat Trail offers hiking at its best.
