You'll need more than a day to look at everything Hopkins Lake has to offer, you can camp at Robert Moses, and if you need a place to stay Lolos Suites & Sundries is a wonderful choice. This lake is so wonderful. Mt. Peter is a wonderful local ski area, and you'll come across a lovely lake called Bunker Pond. An afternoon playing golf at Apple Ridge Country Club is always a joy, and Illusions The Sheraton       Hotel is a great spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Hopkins Lake; Kakiat Trail is a great local trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Pequannock River. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Hopkins Lake. Throughout the warmest time of the year here at Hopkins Lake, high temperatures generally get into the 80's with nighttime lows in the                  60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Hopkins Lake. The skiing at Sterling Forest is perfect, and you'll meet a lot of folks from New York-Newark-Edison here. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things at Hopkins Lake. Stay the night at Camp wabenaki, and hey, Spring Lake Brook is a pleasant local stream. The Pine Meadow Trail offers hiking at its best; there are some great whitewater spots on Ramapo River. All the water falling down from the sky makes Hopkins Lake a wet place; the wettest month of the year is frequently May, that's the one that rains the most; February meanwhile is the driest month.
