A golf course in close proximity to Hoot Owl Lake is Green Pond Golf Club; the panorama of striking Kikeout Mountain is tremendous. Hoot Owl Lake gets much water; most of the rain falls through August, and February is the month with       the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Get your pulse rate up on the pleasant whitewater of Rockaway River; Stickle Pond is a nearby lake that you could pop by. Going for a hike on the Cannonball Trail is always a great adventure; Stickle Pond Dam is pretty. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Hoot Owl Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Ocawasin Lodge is a good place for that; after a long day outdoors Days Inn                  Parsippany is a great place to spend a night or two. Throughout the summer months at Hoot Owl Lake highs are regularly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's while Hoot Owl Lake night low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 10's. What would winter be without some skiing at Mountain Creek; a pleasant close by hotel is Embassy Suites Parsippany. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! Hoot Owl Lake is peerless!.
