Mashipacong Pond is a nearby lake that you could check out, and soar down       the rapids of Raymondskill Creek in a kayak. While you're here at Holiday Lake, you could also explore charming Keller Pond, and you can have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Lost Cabin Trail. Summertime highs at Holiday Lake usually tend to be in the 70's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Holiday Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. Delaware                  National Scenic River is a splendid national park; if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Bald Hill Trail. Swamps are out of the ordinary places and Long Meadow Swamp near Holiday Lake is no exception, and an afternoon playing golf at Hidden Acres Golf Course is always a bliss. So many fun things right next door to Holiday Lake, definitely tremendous. If you came for an overnight stay Cedar Ridge Campgrounds is a good place to camp; the skiing at Holiday Mountain is fine. A fine nearby hotel is Scottish Inns Milford, and Rockview Valley Campground is a fine campground nearby. Some of the water close by flows, like Crawford Branch, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Delaware River. This lake is so wonderful.
