The panoramas at Delaware National Scenic River will blow your mind, and the slopes of Mountain Creek are so inviting nobody can resist. This lake is so wonderful. Get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Clove Brook; if you're a golfer then a great close by course is Spa Executive Nine Golf Course. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Hidden Valley, and there's whitewater on Pequannock River for       all you adrenaline people. Highland Lake truly is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. A great close by hotel is Mountain Creek- Black Creek Sanctuary, and the summit of Wawayanda Mountain can be observed from Highland Lake. After a long day outdoors Mineral Resorts And Spa is a great place to spend a night or two. There's so much to do here at Highland Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Tall Timbers Campground is a pleasant location for                  that. Much rain falls at Highland Lake; during the month of May you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest. Canistear Reservoir is a splendid lake next to Highland Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There are other sites here than Highland Lake, for example Wawayanda Lake, and if you came to camp Camp Nyoda is a great spot to do that. Go for a hike on the Cannonball Trail, and an attention-grabbing thing to explore in close proximity to Highland Lake is Highland Lake Dam. Summertime highs at Highland Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's.
