Henion Pond

Hennion pond is named after John Hennion in 1750 where he built a camping area and the dam for the pond. Says Bob

My Henion relatives in North jersey just found out about Henion Pond via a map. We had never heard of it. Where can i get the history of it. Who is it named after and is there an official sign with HENION POND name on it? w.henion@yahoo.com Says William Henion

If you're here at Henion Pond, you could go to Apshawa Brook, and the skiing
at Mt. Peter is wonderful. Be careful coming to Henion Pond, you might not ever want to return home again. A good panorama of stunning Torne Mountain is available from Henion Pond, and a day on the slopes of Hidden Valley is just what you need.
