Meadow Trail offers hiking at its best. Apshawa Brook is a good local stream, and as expected, all our national parks are good places to visit and Gateway National Recreation Area is no exception.

months, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Henion Pond while overnight lows are typically in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Henion Pond. There are other places

Sunset Valley Golf Course is a magnificent way to kill some time.
Kikeout Mountain can be distinguished from Henion Pond, and a nice spot for whitewater paddling is Pequannock River. A great nearby hotel is Butler Guest House, and if you came to camp Brookwood Swim and Tennis Club is a good site to do that.
