For the duration of the summer months at Henion Pond highs are frequently in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while Henion Pond night low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 10's. Have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Pine Meadow Trail; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by High Crest       Lake. This spot rules, just explore all the enjoyable things to do near Henion Pond. Take a hike on the Cannonball Trail, and there's always Henion Pond Dam to have a look at near Henion Pond. Henion Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Motor Sports Marina and Campground is a great local campground, and Kikeout Mountain is clearly visible from Henion Pond. Very lovely scenery and great skiing is what you get at Hidden Valley, and a spree to Gateway                  National Recreation Area is recommended. Any time is a wonderful time at Henion Pond if you love the outdoors. This is a splendid vicinity for people who like lakes. Terrace Lake is a lake close at hand; near Henion Pond you hit upon a golf course called Sunset Valley Golf Course. Dry warm beds await you at Regency House Hotel & Suites; it's a good idea to go to Apshawa Brook. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Rockaway River is so much fun, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mountain Creek if you're here. Henion Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; August is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Howard Johnson Express Inn is a splendid choice, and whitewater paddling is good on Pequannock River. Hiking along the Kakiat Trail is glorious fun.
