High temperatures at Hendricks Pond all through the warm days of summer are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's while Hendricks Pond nighttime low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 10's. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! Hendricks Pond rocks! Camping at Hendricks Pond is nice fun, Kaufman Campgrounds is a       nice local campground, and if you need a spot to stay Comfort Suites is a perfect choice. If you come at the right time of year, Rockaway River offers some wonderful whitewater; if you came for an overnight stay Liberty Harbor RV Park is a magnificent spot to camp. This lake is so wonderful. What would winter be without some skiing at Sterling Forest. While you're here at Hendricks Pond you can play some golf at Weequahic Park Golf Course; after a long                  day outdoors Belleville Motor Lodge is a pleasant location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Pequannock River, and getting to Second River from Hendricks Pond is easy. All the water falling down from the sky makes Hendricks Pond a wet spot; the month with most of the rain is May while February is generally the driest month. Go for a hike on the Cannonball Trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Clarks Pond.
