This lake is so wonderful. Resorts USA is a fine local campground, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Raymondskill Creek. Hemlock Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; the wettest month of the year is frequently May, that's the one that rains the most, and February is when it's the driest. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the neighborhood       of Hemlock Lake. This is a great vicinity for folks who like lakes. Crater Lake is a lake close at hand, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Bald Barren Trail. At Hemlock Lake through the summertime months highs are in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 30's while Hemlock Lake night low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the                  10's. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Dry Pond; drift down the rapids of Hornbeck's Creek in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. Hemlock Lake is right by the Bald Hill Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Walpack Valley Campground is a wonderful location to camp. Do pay a visit to Delaware National Scenic River while you're here at Hemlock Lake, and after a long day outdoors Fernwood Hotel and Resort is a glorious spot to spend a night or two.
