Headleys Pond usually gets much precipitation; during May this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Windy Acres Campground is a good local campground, and you don’t have to go far from Headleys Pond to spot the water       at Headleys Pond Dam. Shawnee Mountain has splendid slopes and a friendly staff. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Headleys Pond without first going for a hike along the Bald Barren Trail, and if you need a place to stay Econo Lodge Newton is a magnificent choice. Don't miss out on a tour to Delaware National Scenic River if you're here at Headleys Pond; a gorgeous lake like Paulins Kill Lake is a good location to take a look at. So many amusing things close to Headleys Pond, just mind-blowing.
