Why not camp at Rein Teen Tours since you're here at Hartung Lake; after a long day outdoors Howard Johnson Inn - Ramsey is a pleasant place to spend a night or two. At Hartung Lake during the days of summer highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are usually in the 30's while Hartung Lake nighttime low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 10's. Paddling on Pequannock

| | River is so much fun, and if you get bored of Hartung Lake you could also stop by close by Spring Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Hartung Lake is not the only location close by, Parsons Pond is a close by lake, and striking scenery and perfect skiing is what you get at Mt. Peter. If you're a golfer then a great close by course is Apple Ridge Country Club, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Cannonball Trail. Spring Lake Brook is a fine place | |

to explore; the Pine Meadow Trail is a good hiking trail close by. An interesting thing to take a look at close to Hartung Lake is Rambaut Dam, and Ramapo River has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot close by. If only every
place had this much outdoors exciting stuff, what a great planet it would be. The good people of New York-Newark-Edison like to hang out close by. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is glorious here at Hartung Lake, you can
go for a hike along the Kakiat Trail, and Best Western The Inn At Ramsey is a good site to get some rest. Man, is there heaps of fun stuff to do near Hartung Lake. What would winter be without some skiing at Sterling Forest, and camping
is available at Baker Camp On Lake Sebago. Hartung Lake gets a good deal of water; May is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is February.
