Hands Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Baker Camp On Lake Sebago is a nice local campground; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Ramapo River. Go for a hike on the Cannonball Trail, and if the weather is delightful, you obtain a brilliant sight of Campgaw Mountain from Hands Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Hands Lake, you could also explore close by Meyers Lakes; there's perfect hiking

| | along the Pine Meadow Trail. Hands Lake gets lots of water; the month with most of the rain is May while February is usually the driest month. Summertime highs at Hands Lake mostly tend to be in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Hands Lake. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Hands Lake. is always a magnificent experience, and Apple Ridge Country Club is a golf course close by. After a long day outdoors Courtyard Mahwah is a splendid place to spend a night or two, and why not a little side journey to Fyke Brook.
So many fun things to do here at Hands Lake, too wonderful to be true. Hands Lake is not the only place close by, Shadow Lake is a close by lake. This lake is so wonderful. The snow is tremendous at Mt. Peter, and Homewood Suites
by Hilton Mahwah is a good location to get some rest. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Sterling Forest, and not far from Hands Lake you obtain some brilliant water scenery at Shadow Lake Dam. Get
your pulse rate up on the wonderful whitewater of Pequannock River; fine hiking is available along the Kakiat Trail.
