Throughout the warm days of summer here at Gropp Lake, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; overnight lows at Gropp Lake through the winter usually sink into the 20's. The high level of precipitation makes Gropp Lake a rather wet location; most of the rain falls through July, and February meanwhile       is the driest month. But wait, there's more to do in the neighborhood of Gropp Lake. If you came for an overnight stay Union Hill Campgrounds is a fine spot to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water close by flows, like Back Creek, and a nice close by hotel is Econo Lodge Bordentown. If you need a site to stay Bordentown Motel is a great choice; camping is available at Timberland Lake Campground. If you come at the right time of year, Delaware                  River offers some splendid whitewater, and Gropp Lake is not far at all from Trenton-Ewing.
