This lake is so wonderful. Mountain Creek- Appalachian is a good place to get some rest, and you can have a splendid hiking adventure along the Cannonball Trail. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Tallmans Pond, and Oak Ridge Reservoir Dam is a location       that is right next door to Greenwood Pond. Not far from Greenwood Pond, you'll discover Wallace Pond which is a picturesque lake, and everybody close by loves skiing at Mountain Creek. All the water falling down from the sky makes Greenwood Pond a wet place; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Float down the rapids of Pequannock River in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful.
