The beauty of Greenwood Lake is reason enough to stop by. Now, you may imagine that's heaps but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Greenwood Lake. A glorious place for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Greenwood Lake is Pequannock River; there is a nice hiking trail nearby called the Cannonball Trail. A delightful spot to camp here at Greenwood Lake is Black Bear Campground, and going for a hike on the Pine Meadow Trail is always a magnificent

| | adventure. Abram S Hewitt State Forest is a delightful forest area near Greenwood Lake, and the slopes of Sterling Forest are so inviting nobody can resist.
This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Breezy Point Inn, and nearby you find the Kakiat Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Motor Sports Marina and Campground is a brilliant local campground, and Mt. Peter is a great local ski area.
The high level of precipitation makes Greenwood Lake a reasonably
wet place; July is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest. This is a magnificent neighborhood for people who like lakes. Green Turtle Lake is a lake nearby, and Ramapo River is a nice whitewater
spot close by. Summertime highs at Greenwood Lake usually tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 30's; overnight lows through the winter for Greenwood
Lake tend to be in the 10's.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. Gateway National Recreation Area is a very brilliant location to check out in the neighborhood of Greenwood Lake; at Greenwood Lake Dam near Greenwood Lake there are some out of the ordinary things to see.
