Green Valley Lake usually gets a great deal of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is commonly July, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is February. If you get bored of Green Valley Lake, you could also visit close by Bubbling Spring Lake, and Mountain Creek- Black Creek Sanctuary       is a pleasant site to get some rest. Gateway National Recreation Area is one of the destinations near Green Valley Lake that are brilliant to go to, and Green Valley Lake is next to Clinton Brook Valley which is definitely worth going to. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. This lake is so wonderful. Very fine water scenery is available at Pinecrest Dam in the neighborhood of Green Valley Lake; there's wonderful hiking along the Cannonball Trail.                  This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant place for whitewater paddling near Green Valley Lake is Pequannock River, and Green Valley Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Camp Ocawasin Lodge is a great local campground. Rockaway River is a good whitewater spot right next door to Green Valley Lake; the Kakiat Trail offers hiking at its best. Now, you may assume that's plenty but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Green Valley Lake. Pinecrest Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and Hidden Valley is a very popular ski area close at hand. Summertime highs at Green Valley Lake regularly tend to be in the 80's, and the overnight is a little colder of course, commonly in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are commonly in the 30's, and overnight lows at Green Valley Lake through the winter usually dip into the 10's.
