Just can't get enough of Grebe Pond. Some of the water nearby flows, like Molly Ann Brook, and Packanack Golf Club is a good golf course close by. Through the summertime months, highs mostly are in the 80's at Grebe Pond. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are       in the 30's with temperatures at Grebe Pond dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. Hiking along the Kakiat Trail is brilliant fun, and a short visit to Passaic Falls is always worthwhile. Grebe Pond generally gets a lot of precipitation; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. Whitewater paddling is perfect on Ramapo River. Visiting Gateway National Recreation Area is just something you need to do if you haven't yet; going for a hike along the Pine Meadow Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Mt. Peter. Grebe Pond is right by the Cannonball Trail, and if you've had enough of Grebe Pond, Oldham Pond is nearby. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can explore Haledon Reservoir Dam. There's so much to do here at Grebe Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Horizons is a great site for that. This lake is so wonderful.
