Do schedule some time to go to Alder Cove right next door to Goose Pond if you have a chance, and Goose Pond is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Yogi Bear At Tall Pines Resort is a perfect local campground. Goose Pond gets a good deal of water; July is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is February.

This lake is so wonderful. The panoramas at New Jersey Coastal Heritage Trail Route will blow your mind; if you've had enough of Goose Pond, Long Pond is close by. You truly have to adore Goose Pond. Goose Pond is a spot with many visitors from Dover, and some of the water nearby flows, like Fishing Creek.
