Get drenched paddling on Pequest River; Appalacian Mountain Club is a glorious campground nearby. A great deal of rainfall falls at Glovers Pond; the month with most of the rain is May, and February is when it's the driest. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Flat Ridge Trail; what would winter be without some skiing at Shawnee Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Luse Pond; magnificent water scenery is available at French Lake Dam right

A round of golf at nearby Bear Brook Golf Club is a nice way to kill some time, and the view of pretty Jenny Jump Mountain is good. Visit Bear Brook since you're here at Glovers Pond; after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Hackettstown is a nice site to spend a night or two. So much enjoyable stuff near Glovers Pond, truly phenomenal. Glovers Pond is right by the Bald Barren Trail. | |

Get yourself into a kayak and hit Hornbeck's Creek, obviously you could also check out French Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. The views at Delaware National Scenic River will blow your mind, and
Federal Springs is a glorious local attraction. Throughout the days of summer at Glovers Pond temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs
in the 30's, and overnight lows at Glovers Pond through the wintertime usually fall into the 10's. Inn at Panther Valley is a magnificent spot to get some rest, and if you came for an overnight stay Green Valley Beach Campgrounds is a great spot to camp.
