     Glenwood Lake is always a pleasure to visit. You don’t have to go far from Glenwood Lake to catch a glimpse of the water at Glenwood Lake Dam; paddling on Clove Brook is so much fun. Toye's Recreation is a magnificent local campground, and glide down the rapids of Pequannock River in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful.
Glenwood Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; May is when you get the most rain here while February is ordinarily the driest month. Through
 
   the warm months, highs regularly are in the 80's at Glenwood Lake. For the period of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's with temperatures at Glenwood Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff at Glenwood Lake. Why not camp at Tall Timbers Campground if you're here at Glenwood Lake, and Mountain Creek is a very  
               popular ski area around here.
A splendid close by hotel is Mineral Resorts And Spa; playing golf is lots of fun at Spa Executive Nine Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Mountain Creek- Black Creek Sanctuary is a great choice, and Pochuck Mountain is trouble-free to spot from Glenwood Lake. Near Glenwood Lake you hit upon the Peenpack Trail which is a good hiking trail, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Hidden Valley.
