If time allows, New Jersey Coastal Heritage Trail Route is a national park worth a visit, and do go to Silver Lake Dam while you're here. The amount of rain that falls at Garrison Lake is close to the national average; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain; October is when it's the driest. Holly Green Camping Grounds is a great campground here, and Hotel Pitman is a wonderful location to get some rest.       If you fancy the outdoors, you'll love Garrison Lake. There are plenty of people from Vineland-Millville-Bridgeton here at Garrison Lake, and camping at Garrison Lake is tremendous fun, McArthur's Temple View RV Resort is a tremendous local campground. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Garrison Lake highs are frequently in the 80's, and the nighttime is a bit colder of course, commonly in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's with                  temperatures at Garrison Lake dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful.
