New Jersey has many beautiful lakes and Garden Pond is one of them. Garden Pond is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Motor Sports Marina and Campground is a splendid local campground; get yourself into a kayak and hit Pequannock River. This lake is so wonderful. A great place to camp here at Garden Pond is Brookwood Swim and Tennis Club, and hey, Gotta ski right? Sterling Forest is a brilliant place to do that.

| | days of summer here at Garden Pond, high temperatures frequently get into the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Highs through the winter are mostly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Garden Pond are in the 10's. Garden Pond is right by the Cannonball Trail; after a long day outdoors Regency House Hotel & Suites is a splendid site to spend a night or two. And that's not all you can do here at Garden Pond. and Pompton Plains is a gorgeous place any time of year.
Crestmere Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and Regency House Hotel & Suites is a delightful location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Getting to
Acid Brook from Garden Pond is easy, and hiking along the Kakiat Trail is tremendous fun. Here at Garden Pond you can make out Federal Hill; if you come at the right time of year, Rockaway River offers some fine whitewater.
That
right there is lots already, but it carries on; Garden Pond has it all. Golf can be played at Sunset Valley Golf Course; what would winter be without some skiing at Mt. Peter. Don't miss out on a trip to Gateway National Recreation
Area since you're here at Garden Pond; you can have a great hiking adventure along the Pine Meadow Trail. All the water falling down from the sky makes Garden Pond a wet place; most of the rain falls all through August; February on the other hand is the driest.
