Foxs Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. At Foxs Pond during the summer highs are in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows through the wintertime for Foxs Pond tend to be in the 10's. Foxs Pond usually gets a lot of rain; August is the wettest month with most rain; February on the other hand is the driest. You'll come across a picturesque lake called Holstein Lake near Foxs

This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western The Inn At Rockaway, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend India Brook. Mountain Inn is a good site to get some rest, and the skiing at Mountain Creek is splendid. Hidden Valley is a great local ski area, and nice water scenery is available at Foxs Lake Dam in close proximity | |

This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water close by flows, like Beaver Brook. You get a tremendous sight of Snake Hill from Foxs Pond, and there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Rockaway River. Life's too
short to enjoy all the exciting things in the neighborhood of Foxs Pond. If you're here at Foxs Pond and you like golf, you can stop by Peace Pipe Country Club, and camping is available at Brookwood Swim and Tennis Club.
