Forge Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. There's whitewater on Pequannock River for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and dry warm beds await you at Sheraton Parsippany Hotel. This place is excellent, just explore all the enjoyable things to do close to Forge Pond. Near Forge Pond you find a golf course called Rockaway River Country Club, and after a long day outdoors Sierra Suites Parsippany is a perfect place to spend a night

If the weather is great here at Forge Pond, you can go for a hike along the Cannonball Trail; take a look at close by Troy Meadows. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Rockaway River, and you can never get enough of the great skiing at Mountain Creek. During the summertime months at Forge Pond temperatures are generally in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come
with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Forge Pond. Forge Pond is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Camp Horizons is a great spot to camp nearby; skiing at Hidden Valley is one of those things
you just should do. Forge Pond mostly gets a great deal of precipitation; August is when you get the most rain here while February is mostly the driest month.
This lake is so wonderful. Brookwood Swim and Tennis Club is a wonderful campground nearby, and you're possibly keen on lakes, Bee Meadow Pond is one of those nearby.
