During the summer highs here at Fayson Lakes get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Fayson Lakes throughout the wintertime regularly sink into the 10's. A brilliant place for whitewater paddling near Fayson Lakes is Pequannock River, and if you need a location to stay Howard Johnson Express Inn is a glorious       choice. Fayson Lakes regularly gets lots of rain; August is the month that gets the most rain; the driest of the months is February. You could also stop by East Lake if you're here at Fayson Lakes; it's close by; dry warm beds await you at Regency House Hotel & Suites. This lake is so wonderful. Head up to Mountain Creek and strap some skis to your feet, and do take a hike on the Pine Meadow Trail. West Lake Dam has tremendous water scenery and it's close to Fayson Lakes, and if you're a golfer then a glorious nearby course is Sunset Valley Golf Course.
