Lake Emma is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. High temperatures at Lake Emma through the summertime months are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are generally in the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Lake Emma temperatures plunge to the 10's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lake Emma a wet place; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily August,

A magnificent location to camp here at Lake Emma is Brookwood Swim and Tennis Club; Hidden Valley has great slopes and a friendly staff. So much amusing stuff to do at Lake Emma, so little time. so wonderful. An attention-grabbing thing to have a look at in the vicinity of Lake Emma is Splitrock Pond Dam. At Lake Emma you can see Cobb Hill, and Lake Emma is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Sun Air Lakeside Camp
is a delightful local campground. After a long day outdoors Mountain Inn is a fine place to spend a night or two; going for a hike on the Cannonball Trail is always a splendid adventure. Best Western The Inn At Rockaway is a great
place to get some rest, and if you come at the right time of year, Pequannock River offers some great whitewater. While you're here at Lake Emma you can play some golf at Green Pond Golf Club, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Mountain Creek.
