All the water falling down from the sky makes Egbert Lake a wet place; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is mostly the driest month. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Egbert Lake, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's       for Egbert Lake. There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Pequannock River, and the skiing at Mountain Creek is tremendous. Camping is available at Camp Nyoda, and not far from Egbert Lake you'll hit upon Lake Emma which is a pretty lake. Egbert Lake truly is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. If you came for an overnight stay Sun Air Lakeside Camp is a glorious site to camp, and there are other locations here than Egbert Lake, for example                  Green Pond. At Egbert Lake you can see Cobb Hill, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Rockaway River. This lake is so wonderful. An out of the ordinary thing to stop at near Egbert Lake is Siebert Pond Dam; if you need a spot to stay Hampton Inn DenvilleParsippany Are is a wonderful choice. This lake is so wonderful.
