Playing golf is lots of fun at Green Pond Golf Club, and the summit of Kanouse Mountain can be spotted from Echo Lake. Hidden Valley has wonderful slopes and a friendly staff. Lakes? Sure, Wonder Lake is close by. All the water falling down from the sky makes Echo Lake a wet spot; July is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is February.       This lake is so wonderful. All our national parks are great locations to go to, and Gateway National Recreation Area is no exception, and not far from Echo Lake you'll stumble on Forest Hill Lake which is a beautiful lake. Hit the slopes at Mountain Creek around here, and Embassy Suites Parsippany is a magnificent location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Echo Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Ocawasin                  Lodge is a good place for that, and a magnificent place for whitewater paddling is Rockaway River. Having a glorious time at Echo Lake is uncomplicated. Echo Lake Spillway Dam is beautiful and it's next to Echo Lake, and Echo Lake is right by the Kakiat Trail. High temperatures at Echo Lake during the summertime are in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Echo Lake are in the 10's. So many fun things near Echo Lake, just mind-boggling. Take a hike on the Pine Meadow Trail; get your heart pumping on the perfect whitewater of Pequannock River.
