If you are in Morris county it's always a good idea to stop by East Lake. All through the months of summer at East Lake highs are regularly in the 80's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for East Lake. You just should go for East Lake. East Lake is right by the Kakiat Trail; if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pequannock River.

| | This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant site to camp here at East Lake is Brookwood Swim and Tennis Club, and whitewater paddling is good on Rockaway River.
Lakes are such serene sites, why not stop at Butler Reservoir right next door to East Lake, and the skiing at Hidden Valley is fine. The Cannonball Trail offers hiking at its best, and a spree to Gateway National Recreation Area is worthwhile. This lake is
so wonderful. Mountain Creek is a delightful local ski area, and Regency House Hotel & Suites is a great location to get some rest. Hiking along the Pine Meadow Trail is brilliant fun; dry warm beds await you at Howard Johnson Express
Inn.
You imagine that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Camping is available at Motor Sports Marina and Campground, and a golf course nearby is Sunset Valley Golf Course.
