There's just no way someone can get bored here at Dunker Pond. Do stop by Triangle Lake in the neighborhood of Dunker Pond, it's a gorgeous lake, and close by you discover the Cannonball Trail which is a great hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Rockaway       River, and a quick trip to Dunker Brook is absolutely a delightful idea. A good deal of rain falls at Dunker Pond; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is February. Sun Air Lakeside Camp is a glorious campground nearby, and do pop by Cannistear Reservoir Dam Number One if you're here. While you're here at Dunker Pond, you could also stop at picturesque Cliffwood Lake, and playing golf is lots of fun at Bowling Green                  Golf Club. Dry warm beds await you at Mineral Resorts And Spa; the snow is tremendous at Mountain Creek. During the summer months highs here at Dunker Pond get into the 80's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's while Dunker Pond overnight low temperatures all through the winter are in the 10's. Head up to Hidden Valley and strap some skis to your feet. This lake is so wonderful.
