If you are in this part of New Jersey make sure to pay a visit to Duck Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Hornbeck's Creek is a fine whitewater spot near Duck Pond, and Duck Pond is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Rabbit Patch Camp Ground is a brilliant local campground. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Duck Pond. Throughout the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. Highs throughout the wintertime are usually in the 30's, and overnight lows

| | in the 10's for Duck Pond. Lakes? Sure, Mud Pond is in close proximity, and if you have the time, Delaware National Scenic River is a national park worth going to.
There's so much to do here at Duck Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Walpack Valley Campground is a tremendous spot for that, and great skiing awaits you at Shawnee Mountain. Hiking along the Bald Barren Trail is wonderful fun, and a brilliant nearby hotel is Econo Court Motel. Any | |

time is a magnificent time at Duck Pond if you have a thing about the outdoors. A glorious place for whitewater paddling near Duck Pond is Pequest River, and Spring Valley Dam is not far at all from Duck Pond.
The high level of
rainfall makes Duck Pond a reasonably wet site; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain; February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Duck Pond you can take a hike
along the Maple Brook Trail. If you need a location to stay Fernwood Hotel and Resort is a great choice; you can have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Flat Ridge Trail.
